“Colonel Popoola was shot in the shoulder three days prior in the thick of a fight to recover control of Hong and Gombi in Adamawa state from the Islamist aggressor order. An armed force source in Abuja told Saharareporters that the senior armed force officer has been taken to UCH Ibadan where he is required to get better and further treatment in the impending days.”
