Named M&C (Music & Culture) FM, the veteran Juju musician has assured fans he will bring his local and global influence to play in making the station one of the best in the country.
The musician is said to have deliberately taken his time to perfect the technical process related to running a standard radio station and has assembled a management team including financial directors, one of Nigeria’s foremost journalists as the media manager and a top broadcast engineer with himself as chairman.

Speaking on why it took almost a decade to get the regulatory approval, KSA said: “Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. The NBC has its operational standard, so do I. I deliberately took time off to carefully select a team of loyal partners who share (the) same vision on what a music station should be.
“Don’t forget also that this will be the first radio station in Nigeria that will be solely devoted to promoting our culture and our music.”

KSA reportedly applied for the license in 2006 under the ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo administration and according to him, the station will begin transmission before the end of this year.
Meanwhile, governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has been unveiled as host of the annual Best Of Nollywood (BON) Awards 2015.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, at an event attended by Nollywood actors like Alex Ekubo, Ngozi Nwosu, Segun Arinze, Yomi Fash Lanso, Fathia Williams among others.
“We are happy to announce that Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and the good people of Ondo State are the host of this year’s Best of Nollywood Awards,” the organisers said.

The governor has promised to give Nollywood stars and stakeholders a ball and a blast during the awards ceremony in December.
According to the governor Ondo State is aiming at ensuring that the 2015 edition was the best ever.
“We will give spirit and soul to the Best of Nollywood Awards this year. It would be held in the best event centre in the country which is our new ultra-modern dome, which would make the Expo Centre in Lagos look like a village square,” mimiko said.
The 2015 edition will hold on December 15.
