Boko Haram: Maiduguri to Gamboru/Ngala Road reopened after almost 3 years of closure

Yesterday, Gov. Shettima of Borno state and the Chief of Army Staff, Lt- Gen TY Buratai, flagged off the opening of Maiduguri to Gamboru/Ngala Road in Borno state.

The road which was shutdown for the last 27 months is one of the most commercially viable road in the country that links Nigeria to the Republic of Chad, Cameroon, Sudan and Central African Republic.

Gov, Shettima was full of praises to Pres. Buhari for choosing Lt-Gen. Buratai as COAS and further stated that the Nigerian Army under Buratai is winning the war and those that are against him are sympathisers of Boko Haram.
