Kidnapper mercilessly beaten after being caught yesterday –

The man snatched a child who was walking on the street with her mum, around Beckleys Estate, Abule Egba, Lagos, jumped on his bike and tried to ride away. He was however unlucky, as the woman raised an alarm and other passersby gave him a hot chase.

When he realized that his game was almost up, he threw the child from the bike, with the hope that his chasers would back off, but they didn't give up and he was eventually caught.



The child was injured and was taken to the hospital while the kidnapper was almost beaten to death, but for the timely intervention of policemen from the Oko Oba division, who came to his rescue.
