22-yr-old tailor slumped and died

Hours after being threatened that he wouldn't live to see the next day, 22-yr-old tailor slumped and died

According to Punchng, Orobiyi Street, Alagbado, Lagos State, experienced chaos on Sunday, after Lukmon Shotunde, 22, slumped and died. This prompted residents to attack one Taofeek Sodiq, who had a disagreement with Shotunde, earlier that day. .

.
They're about lynching him, but for the timely police intervention. Sodiq had sent his 10-year-old son on an errand with N500. The boy was said to have been defrauded by a man who sat in the front of Shotunde’s locked shop.

Sodiq reportedly accused Shotunde of colluding with the fraudster, insisting on getting back the N500. In the heat of argument, he allegedly told Shotunde, “You will not live to open your shop tomorrow, if my money is not returned.”

A resident, Owolabi Daod, explained that within 3 hours, Shotunde slumped and died. He said, “He was walking back to his shop when he suddenly collapsed. We rushed him to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead.”

Shotunde’s father however fought off efforts by the police to recover his corpse. He later buried him according to Islamic rites. The Lagos State Police P.R.O, SP Dolapo Badmos, said it was a case of sudden and unnatural death and investigation was ongoing.</div>
