BRICS and SCO – to replace PACE and OSCE

Historic summits of two organisations – BRICS and SCO – which are providing the framework of the emerging “Eurasian” world order opened at the same time in Ufa. Moreover it is the first time they take place in the same location. In both structures Russia-China is the “dominant link” and our country will aim to do everything possible to attract more investment in our infrastructure projects, to strengthen economic relations with our partners, as well as to obtain their political support – in case of further escalation in the confrontation with the West.

Two historical summits are taking place this week: the crisis talk in France and Germany about the Greek crisis and the simultaneous meeting of the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries in Ufa, Russia. These two meetings could hardly be more different.
The Eurobureaucrats are scrambling to prevent a domino effect in which Greece would leave the Eurozone and set a precedent for other Mediterranean countries such as Italy, Spain or even France. But there is really much more at stake here than the comparatively small Greek debts, the solvency of European banks or even the future of the Euro. What is really at stake is the credibility and future of the entire “Euro project” and thus the future of the oligarchy which created it.

US to Lose Its Ground Under BRICS Pressure

Blind adherence to US policies and the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions have turned fatal for Europe; the axis of Russia-China-BRICS is set to overturn the global economic system and to prevail over the hegemony of the US, according to the chief economist of the German Bremer Landesbank.
The real damage to the EU countries caused by the launch of anti-Russian sanctions is much more comprehensive than that estimated by the statistics, Folker Hellmeyer, chief economist of the German Bremer Landesbank told in an interview with Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten.

BRICS to Create Own Parliamentary Assembly


Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Alexei Pushkov discussed the possibility to establish a parliamentary assembly of the BRICS countries during their visit to India, according to the source.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A parliamentary assembly of the BRICS countries, namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, could be established in the near future on Russia's initiative, the Izvestia newspaper reported Thursday, citing a source familiar with the situation.

Brazil desires to diversify their trading beyond conventional companions in Latin America, and to help work having its companions from BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) places and Europe, Marden Barboza, Deputy Assistant of Global Issues at Brazil's Finance Ministry revealed Wednesday.
