US Convoy March is 'Shocking Spectacle Fitting Imperialistic Ambitions'

The US military guard maching  through Eastern Europe, including the Czech Republic, to its base in Germany is a “stunning exhibition in keeping with the US’ imperialistic desire,” Petr Hájek, manager in-head of the Protiproud site, told Sputnik.

Hájek depicted the US activity, nicknamed the Dragoon Ride, as “a show of force … pointed at the Czech society,” not at someone on the outside, for instance, like Russia, including that the United States treats the Czech Republic like a protectorate.

Czechs will clearly stage protest against the caravan, said the previous counsel to Václav Klaus, who served as the president of the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013. Yet the media, he included, will probably keep noiseless on any structure of discontent.

The activity has effectively started open shock in the nation inciting the Czech military to announce that it will ensure the US military caravan.

The Czech government chose to support the activity, in light of the fact that “it is not an administration of a sovereign country,” Hájek said.

“We, as an independent nation, have largely lost our sovereign rights after joining the European Union and NATO. Our hands are tied,” Hájek told Sputnik Czech edition. “The Czech Republic … has become a target of someone’s military ambitions. It is losing its freedom,” he added.

The Czech Republic ought not tune in in the NATO military activities since drills could lead to the heightening of tensions in the district and incite a genuine military clash, Hájek said.

The Protiproud site has begun an appeal asking Czech powers to leave NATO, which has turned into a hostile partnership planning to launch a war against Russia, Hájek included. Thousands have signed the petition. “Honest people should not accept this,” he said.

CIA Director Mad That Iranian General Fights Against ISIL in Iraq

As many in the West call on regional actors to take a leading role in combating the influence of the self-proclaimed Islamic State, none have responded quite as efficiently as Iran. But CIA Director John Brennan worries that one Iranian general, lauded by Iraqis, poses a significant threat to US counterterrorism efforts.
The terrorist attacks in Yemen and Syria last week, which the Islamic State took credit for, served as a reminder of just how necessary it is for the world to eradicate the terrorist group. Weary of becoming embroiled in another expensive war in the Middle East, the United States has instead called on regional leaders to take action.

Ron Paul: We Need to March Our Troops Home

As the US continues to suffer the consequences of military forays into the Middle East – campaigns based largely on faulty intelligence – former presidential candidate Ron Paul has a sobering suggestion: maybe it’s time for America to be content, and let its troops march home.
"Twelve years ago last week, the US launched its invasion of Iraq," Paul begins, writing his latest article for the Ron Paul Institute. And it has, indeed, been twelve excruciating years since coalition forces launched their “shock and awe” attack against Saddam Hussein’s government.

"Before the attack I was accused of exaggerating the potential costs of the war when I warned that it could end up costing as much as $100 billion," Paul writes. Despite that criticism, Paul may have even been lowballing the total cost. Last March, Reuters estimated that the war continues to cost in excess of $1.7 trillion. And that’s not including the War in Afghanistan.

By Matthew A. Winkler for ==>>Bloomberg<<== (yes, Bloomberg not the Kremlin’s press office!)

That was then. Presently the picture is changing, with speculators beginning to support Russia in 2015. The ruble, which turned into the world’s most unpredictable cash a year ago after President Vladimir Putin’s territory snatch, is settling. The swings in its esteem contracted for this present year more than any of the other 30 most-exchanged monetary forms.
