Delta State University, DELSU Bans Micro mini/Miniskirt On Campus and Reduces Worship Centers

The Delta State University, Abraka authorities on Saturday banned the wearing of miniskirts and demanded there must be a diminishment of fellowship centres in the three University grounds. As indicated by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Vincent Peretemode, the three grounds being referred to have more than 80 fellowships which should now be decreased to four. He said the fellowships which would consequently forward be permitted in the campuses will be the Catholic, Anglican, Joint Christian Campus Fellowship and Our Saviors Chapel.

NSCDC Arrests 32 Yr Old Man For Allegedly Impregnating 14-Year-Old Girl In Jigawa

The Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Sunday said it had arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly impregnating a minor.

The State Commandant of the corps, Mr Muhammad Gidado, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the suspect, a resident of Kanti Quarters in Katoge village, was arrested in Kazaure Local Government Area.

” The Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 32-year-old man for molesting and impregnating a 14-year-old girl in Kazaure Local Government Area,” Gidado said.

He said that the matter was reported by the mother of the victim to the men of the corps operating in the area.

The commandant said when the suspect was invited and interrogated, he confessed to having canal knowledge of the girl many times.

“The suspect admitted having sexual intercourse with the little girl countless number of times,” said the commandant.

According to him, a clinical test conducted showed that the victim was carrying a four-month-old pregnancy.

Gidado said the suspect would soon be charged to court. (NAN)

17 days after his election, Senator Bukola Saraki,opened up yesterday on the controversial poll, saying those against him planned to abduct him to prevent him from emerging as Senate President.

Saraki disclosed that, on Tuesday, June 9, Senate inauguration day, following information he got of the abduction plot to keep him off the National Assembly, he altered his schedule by arriving the parliament car park at 6am, stayed in his car and then trekked at quarter to 10am into the chamber.

Extremely maneuverable, ultra-fast and elusive, the hypersonic Yu-71 can break through any missile defense system, military experts said. Russia has reportedly carried out four tests already.

Russia is test-launching a new hypersonic attack aircraft that can carry nuclear warheads and penetrate missile defense systems, US media said citing a report by Jane's Information Group.

The development of the Yu-71 vehicle took several years, and Russia reportedly conducted the most recent test flight on February 26, with an SS-19 missile trying to deliver the Yu-71 to space.
