Graphic photos: 2 robbers killed in Ogun


Two members of a 5-man robbery gang were killed by men of the Ogun state police command after they raided the Dalemo community in Ogun state yesterday July 26th. Residents in the community put a distress call across to the police and after the police arrived the scene, a gun battle ensued leading to the death of two of the robbers while the remaining three escaped with gunshot wounds. Items recovered from the robbers included 15 cellphones, jewellery, N3,000, 1 Dell Laptop and other items. Photo from the scene after the jump.

Presidency, B'Haram reportedly begin negotiations

There are reports that the presidency has started negotiations with Boko Haram. Snoop Dogg arrested in Sweden, forced to pee in a cup


Snoop Dogg was arrested in Sweden yesterday and he thinks it was a clear case of racial profiling. Swedish police however, say they arrested Snoop because they thought he was driving under the influence of narcotics, but Snoop says he was taken to the station, forced to pee in a cup and police determined he was clean.


Kylie Jenner ‘barely graduated’ High School after getting an extension

17-year-old Kylie Jenner who was home schooled announced earlier this week that she had graduated high school, well it has been discovered that she just barely graduated.

 Kylie who was supposed to have graduated with her mates last month, even had to get an extension to finish in time!

Indiana, USA Dad forces daughter on camera her to wear sign saying she's a thief & liar

I think this man went too far. You don't do this to your own child. An Indiana dad named Gary Mills shared a video of his teenage daughter on Facebook that show her wearing a cardboard sign that read, "My name is Abby Mills & I am a liar & a theif! I’ve stolen from my parents, brothers & sister. Aunts & uncles. I even stole my 9-yr-old cousin’s Christmas presents.” In the video that has since gone viral, the dad, who is filming, can be heard asking people to share the video 'so everybody in the world will know my daughter's a thief and I'm sick and tired of it.". Many have condemned the video but some are hailing the dad. What do you guys think? Did he go too far?

14 dead after chlorine explosion in Jos

14 people lost their lives after a chlorine explosion at the Laminga water treatment plant in Jos Plateau state occurred yesterday July 25th. According to reports, one of the gas cylinders leaked and diffused into the homes of people who lived in the area as they slept. 14 died while 114 are receiving treatment in four hospitals; the Jos University Teaching Hospital JUTH, Bingham University Teaching Hospital, Plateau Specialist and OLA Hospitals.

Shark kills diver while daughter watches in horror

A large shark attacked and killed a man who was diving with his daughter off the coast of Maria Island in Tasmania, Australia. The man, who was in his late 40s and his daughter, who is in her 20s, were diving for scallops from a small dinghy Saturday morning when the fatal attack took place, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.

Stephen Keshi demands N1billion compensation from NFF

Sacked Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is demanding N1billion compensation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for defaming him. According to Vanguard, Keshi has dragged the NFF to court for “wrongful dismissal and defamation”. A top source told said “Keshi’s lawyers have demanded for a billion Naira from the NFF as compensation for defaming their client.” A letter from Keshi's lawyers was sent to NFF on Friday July 24th. Keshi was sacked by the NFF on July 5 just four months after he'd signed a new two-year contract to coach the Super Eagles.

There was a bomb explosion in Mogadishu, the Somali Capital this afternoon July 25th. The massive explosion targeted Jazeera hotel close to UN compound, in Mogadishu.
